Boqer Or (Good Morning Light)!

It happened suddenly on last Saturday night at 8:20 PM in the revival meetings here in Paso Robles, CA.  A earthquake with its epicenter only 8 miles from the church building unexpectedly shook this region (click here for more info).  It happened right in the middle of my preaching about modern ministries that are living in sin and the amount of lawless rebellion that is allowed in so called “spirit filled” circles.  All of us in this evening revival service felt the earthquake and we all were quickened to step up a greater attentiveness to what God is speaking thru these revival services here in California.  We are in the days of shaking and we must be ready for all contingency plans that may suddenly appear according to God’s sovereign choosing!  It is the 911 season!!!

The prophet Amos comes to mind when I think of earthquakes that rattles the status quo of believers.  In Amos 1:1 we see that the entire timeline of the words of Amos were synchronized according to the massive earthquake that rocked the ancient Mideast.  It was such a powerful quake that this book refers to it in its introductory statements!  Then we see in Amos 7:10 that the wicked priest Amaziah from the pagan worship center of Bethel warns King Jeroboam that Amos’s preaching is so powerful that even the land cannot endure his words!  Think about that this beautiful morning…what most likely triggered the massive earthquake was the preemptive preaching of repentance and justice by Amos!

I believe the same thing is happening here in California in these meetings.  We are preaching some of the most heart rendering messages about how to truly please God and forsake our own selfish wills.  We are launching into the deepest revelation that the Scriptures allow us in diligently searching for the sweet spot of only pleasing Him in a ruthless first love abandonment!.  We are calling out the false prophets and ear tickling ministers of the popular Christian media outlets and how their winds of doctrine have destabilized the army of God in this late hour.  We are worshipping God for these truths in a realm of pure worship that melts even the hardest of hearts!  We are in extended meetings for this week and have decided to extend them even more for next week!  We are in a relentless pursuit to please Him and bring in the backsliders of California!  It is the Days of Awe!
